Mary Lois Hofmeister Emery, 88, of Roanoke Rapids, formerly of Tucson, Arizona, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Carolina Rest Home.

Mary, a native of Elizabeth, PA, was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary McCutchin Hofmeister. She was a retired LPN from the University of Arizona Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Jensen, and her husband, Joe, of Roanoke Rapids; two sons, Gary Emery of Pheonix, Arizona and Roger Emery and his wife, Carol, of Tucson, Arizona; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
